Do you love snow? So do we. We are the Midwest region of the North American Snowsports Journalists Association (NASJA), a place for people who tell stories about life on the snow. We use videos, photographs, podcasts, and the “written” (or these days, typed) word to inform, educate, inspire, and entertain.
We’re interested in skiing, snowboarding, snowmobiling, dog mushing, snowshoeing, fat-tire bike riding in the snow, skijoring, and any new ways that humans will invent to make winter and snow enjoyable.
There are plenty of stories to tell in the world of snow-based living, from the latest multi-million-dollar upgrade at a destination resort to the hardy traveler who journeys to the South Pole to tips on how to save money on skiing to reports on the latest gear.
We also help each other with the business of journalism and story-telling: What tools do we find helpful in honing our craft? Who do you need to talk with to get the inside scoop on the latest industry trend? How do we cut through the clutter in a world saturated in social media?
